Energy Efficiency in the Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Sector
About us
A civil society organisation working on sustainable management of environmental resources.
Who we are
The mission of the Resources Environmental Center (REC) — North Macedonia, Skopje, is to achieve sustainable development through sound management of environmental resources. As a civil society organisation working according to the principles of sustainability, we place emphasis on the social, economic and environmental dimensions, and focus on long-term solutions built on a holistic approach and the regular involvement of stakeholders and the wider public in processes that improve the environment and its resources.
How we work
- A holistic approach — every question is looked at through social, economic and environmental lenses at the same time.
- Stakeholder involvement — institutions, local government, business, schools and citizens take part in the process rather than only receiving its results.
- Long-term solutions — we build capacity and systems that remain in place after a project ends.
Who we work with
We work with ministries and state institutions, local self-government units, educational institutions, chambers of commerce and companies, as well as international organisations and donors.
